Job description: CNC Machinist - Belding, MI Area Position Summary We are hiring experienced CNC Machinists to set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes used to produce complex, close-tolerance components. Candidates may specialize in either milling or turning; experience with both is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills, and CNC lathes. Produce parts according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards Install tooling, fixtures, and workholding components Make offsets, tool changes, and cutting-parameter adjustments Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality concerns Complete production and inspection documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support continuous-improvement efforts Qualifications 3-5 years of previous CNC milling, turning, or related machining experience CNC setup experience is strongly preferred Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining practices Ability to read blueprints and inspect close-tolerance parts, understand GD&T Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail High school diploma, GED, trade-school training, or equivalent experience Experience with 5+ axis machining, CAM programming, G-code, Fanuc controls are a plus! Compensation and Benefits $26.00–$34.00 per hour, depending on experience First Shift Hours
